Josie Davis

A Hollywood, California native, Josie Davis is an actress producer, writer and actress. Davis started her career as an actor for children in television commercials. As a little girl her character became a frequent guest on Charles In Charge. It was the top-rated show on syndication. Josie received three nominations for the prestigious Youth In FIlm Award, which she won in her character of Sarah Powell. Davis was a prominent actress in many television films as an adult. She was the recipient of Lifetime Movie Network Awards for the work she did. Davis trained with Paul E Richards intensively for nearly twenty years, despite her ability to have entered USC's prestigious Writing Program. Davis when she was of 24, auditioned before the biggest stars of Hollywood, Shelley Winters and Mark Rydell and Martin Landau. Davis signed up to the famed Actors Studio after just one audition. She was given permission to work and later made Lifetime member. Over one thousand actors were invited to audition, which made Davis just one of only two actors to be accepted at the time.
